On Tuesday, December 12th, AU hosted its biannual Engineering Students’ Graduation Projects Exhibition for the Fall 2023/2024 semester, graced by the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al Mani’.
The event witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including Acting Secretary-General of the Private Universities Council, Eng. Adel al Badr; The Australian Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Ms. Melissa Kelly; The German Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Mr. Hans-Christian Freiherr von Reibnitz; AU President, Prof. Isam Zabalawi; and several AU staff, students, and their families.
Dr. Adel Al Mani’ commended the exhibition for showcasing a diverse array of projects with innovative ideas that kept pace with modern developments. He highlighted the projects’ relevance to the needs of the labor market, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. Dr. Al Mani’ urged the students to embrace responsibility as they transition to the practical stage, acknowledging the inevitable challenges and encouraging them to face difficulties with persistence and determination.
