AU signs MoU with UTP

The Australian University (AU) and Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting academic and research excellence. The MoU was officially signed at a ceremony held on UTP campus – Malaysia by AU President, Prof. Isam Zabalawi, and UTP Vice Chancellor Prof. Dato’ Ir Ts Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib. 

The MoU encompasses several key areas that will propel AU and UTP towards achieving their academic and research goals and will facilitate joint scholarly activities related to teaching and learning, scientific research in areas of mutual interest, as well as providing opportunities for faculty and student mobility. It covers various areas of joined effort including fostering an exchange of academic and administrative knowledge between the universities, collaborations on scientific research, and exploring opportunities to co-organize conference, seminars and workshops.  

The initiative continues to strengthen AU’s commitment to internationalization and developing collaboration with strong international academic institutions.
